Well, the HRO Today Forum’s second annual iTalent Competition is only a week away!
Again, I’m really excited to again be the MC for this special session where HR, recruiting and talent management technology innovations will demonstrate how they’re helping businesses recruit, hire and develop employees, as well as creating job growth and getting America back to work. This year’s HRO Today Forum April 30 – May 2, 2013, in Philadelphia, PA, and there’s still time for you to register and join us. (In fact, if you’ve got an inkling to attend, which you should, you can get a 20% attendee discount by registering here.)
That is something desperately need to aspire to today (and my new employer Peoplefluent, certainly does, but with me being the MC and all…). The five iTalent competitiors will give 10-minute pitches before our plenary audience and panel of HR technology experts, industry advisors and investment analysts.
The iTalent winner will receive:
- Face-time with the judging panel including investors
- One-on-one meetings with attending HR executives
- A feature article in HRO Today magazine promoting the winning company and the innovative technology
Here are the five companies participating in this year’s iTalent Competition:

If and when a recruiter is needed, the recruiter becomes an extension of the platform. Leveraging the concepts of collective intelligence, cloud computing and crowdsourcing, HireMojo sits on top of current and future candidate sourcing options, including social networks, job boards, user groups and its own proprietary career network.
JIBE: JIBE builds SaaS recruiting solutions that enable leading companies to hire the best talent, regardless of their existing systems. The company is dedicated to making recruiting simple with solutions for enterprises to attract and engage candidates using the latest technology. This is the first and only solution that allows a jobseeker to submit a complete job application from any device—mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Its mobile native apps drive employee referrals.
Connect6°: Connect6° helps companies find talent with their reach by optimizing their employees’ networks. Its exclusive search algorithm can identify talent across all professional networks. More than 10 million public profiles help the solution identify the connections when companies sign in and add their network.
